Khaled Aljaramani

Khaled Aljaramani was born in Sweida, southern Syria, in 1972. His first oud lessons were with Fayez Zher Eddine, following which he attended the Institut Supérieur de Musique under Askar Ali Akbar. Still a student, he attended workshops run by Mounir Bachir and Nassir Chama. He got his degree in 1999.

Khaled Aljaramani approaches music like a voyage into his inner self. He constantly searches the balance between the music and emotion. His artistic projects are opportunities to experiment and exchange ideas about musical form and the encounter between cultures.
