Gautier Laurent

After six years studying music at the National Conservatory in Nancy, under Bernard Vautrin as a teacher, Gautier LAURENT successfully earned various prizes and a state diploma in jazz in 1995. In the session of 2012/2013, he won the competition to become a professor of artistic teaching. Today, he holds the position of coordinator of the jazz section of the Nancy conservatory, and has been giving double-bass and jazz lessons there and at the conservatory of Metz since 2008. His musical career and numerous encounters have moulded the sensitivity of this double-bassist of huge musical energy.
